Saying Goodbye to Twitter After I Deleted My Account Today After 17 Years On a Once Beloved Platform
Today, after 17 years, my Twitter account will be automatically deleted. It was a meaningful way for me to connect with others, especially as an introvert. Now, I’m reflecting on how it evolved, what it once offered, and why it no longer fits in my life.

If It's Not Worth Your Time to Write it, It's Not Worth My Time to Read It
I don’t mind AI being used to write the foundation of what will become an article or blog post, as long as the journalist or blogger has clearly put in the effort to make it their own.
Otherwise, it’s just SEO bait. If it’s not worth your time to write it, it’s not worth my time to read it.

To be clear regarding my last post, I will continue to post to Micro.blog during my Social Media hiatus, and occasionally cross-post to Bluesky and Mastodon.

Social Media Hiatus
I’m taking an indefinite social media hiatus. I’ll still check replies & DMs occasionally, and keep Bluesky/Mastodon active, but email is best. My personal blog and site are coming soon. My home business is no longer on social media.

Testing. Is this thing on?
Trying out Micro.blog to occasionally share my thoughts and cross-post to Mastodon and Bluesky while enjoying the other benefits of posting from here instead.
Anyway, here are photos of my cat and a neighborhood rabbit!
