I’m up to episode 4 of The Pitt. It’s an excellent series so far. It found its footing in episode 3, which is about right. Episode 4 was exceptional. You forget you’re watching a TV show. Incredibly talented and dedicated actors make even the lighter moments completely believable. They become these characters. The way they fake the medical conditions and procedures is very believable. Everyone involved clearly cares about what they’re doing.

Some cases are expectedly gut-wrenching. The story of the dying father and the adult kids making impossibly hard decisions was some of the best acting and writing I’ve ever seen.

The scene of Robby’s (Noah Wyle, head doctor) panic attack was brilliantly done.

I wish they had dropped the entire season at once. Very eager to watch the rest.
